Contractors Participating in Wyoming Home Performance with ENERGY STAR must complete an intensive week-long training followed by mentoring. These Qualified Contractors have passed a written and field exam to ensure they are comfortable with the skills needed to help you be more comfortable and reduce your energy bills. Step 1: Schedule a Comprehensive Home Energy Assessment Step 2: Review Recommendations and Improvements Report with your contractor Step 3: Discuss Financing options if necessary Step 4: Contractor will install improvements Step 5: Test-out to ensure everything is working properly Step 6: Request your Certificate of Energy-Saving Improvements from Wyoming Home Performance with ENERGY STAR; Step 7: Submit appropriate tax rebate (consult with your tax specialist) or utility rebate forms if available Step 8: Enjoy improved comfort, reduced maintenance, and energy savings for the life of your home

If a contractor fails remain in GOOD STANDING, they will be debarred and may no longer participate in the program or display the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR logo.
