Home Performance with ENERGY STARŪ Contractor Training, September 2008

Wyoming Home Performance, creating a sustainable, recession-resistant market throughout the State of Wyoming for the diagnosis and treatment of homes to make them healthy, comfortable and energy efficient.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is an excellent opportunity for insulation and air sealing companies, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors, handyman, and home remodeling firms to expand their business. Being a part of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is also a great way to distinguish qualified companies from their competitors in the market.

To participate in Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, a contractor firm must become a Wyoming Energy Council Preferred Contractor.

Visit our Opportunity page for more information.

Ten Wyoming contractors went through training in September 2008 and successfully complete a BPI written exam.  Mentoring is underway, and a field exam will follow to complete their BPI Professional Building Analyst certification.  Four Alliance Partner staff members from Black Hills Power also attended the classroom and field training to learn about whole-house energy efficiency.
